Rules at the Ranch

Doggie Assessment/Dogumentation

  • Every dog at the Ranch must complete a doggie assessment performed by one of our qualified staff members before they are allowed out in the play yards to attend doggie day care. This can be done in about ½ an hour. This will help us get to know your dog and their personal need and preferences; also we can see how your dog reacts to other people and dogs this way we can determine which play group suites them best.

Playgroups

  • Only spayed and neutered dogs can participate in the doggie daycare playgroups.
  • Only socialized dogs with good temperament can participate in playgroups.
  • Dogs will be grouped according to size, age and activity level.
  • All dogs must be current on shots to participate in doggie playgroups.

Temperament

  • Dogs staying with us at the Ranch must have a temperament that allows the Play Dog Play staff to be able to care for them (feed, handle, ect.). Your dog cannot pose a danger to Play Dog Play staff. Please make sure you appraise us if there has been any aggressive behavior displayed by your dog towards other dogs or people.
  • If your dog displays aggressive behavior during their stay with us we will remove them from the play yards with the other dogs and place them in their own yard for the duration of their stay.

Doggie Daycare

  • Only spayed and neutered dogs can participate in the doggie daycare.
  • Only socialized dogs with good temperament can participate in daycare.
  • Doggie day care is offered 7 days a week; M-F from 7:00-6:30 and Saturday & Sunday from 9-3.
  • We do not feed dogs during doggie daycare.

Assumption of Risk

  • Dog owners must be aware and acknowledge that the owners and staff of Play Dog Play do not have a background in veterinary medicine. Owners also acknowledge that vaccinations do not protect against all communicable illnesses that may affect dogs when staying and playing in close proximity with other dogs. In addition, we at Play Dog Play do our very best to keep an eye on everyone during their stay with us; however accidents may happen and sometimes doggies may get hurt while they are with us at the Ranch (running into one of their friends, spraining a paw, bumping a nose, etc.). Dog owners agree to assume risk of illness or injury while their pet is staying with us at Dog Walker Ranch.

Thank You,
John Polzoni and Molly Krawczyk
