With a team of experienced and compassionate staff, Play Dog Play focuses on offering a range of activities that cater to dogs' physical and social needs.
Meet Linda and Hector Coello
New owners (since 2022), Linda and Hector opened their dog-loving hearts to provide dog services after careers in-home daycare and sheet metal working.
Linda and Hector founded Petaluma Dog Walkers/Play Dog Play in 2002 to combine two of their biggest passions - the beautiful outdoors and a huge love for dogs! With decades of experience, Linda and Hector are experts at working with all breeds of dogs, individually and in groups. They have worked with several rescue dogs who were initially shy and timid and are now happy, well-socialized members of the Play Dog Play family. Our Guidelines
We adhere to strict guidelines to protect the health and safety of our human and canine friends: 1. Every new fur baby is required to have an assessment (Meet and Greet) before playing or staying. 2. All vaccines must be current and remain up-to-date. 3. All dogs must be neutered or spayed. 4. All dogs must have good recall/come when called. 5. All dogs must get along with all human staff and other dogs. 6. No aggressive play. 7. No chronic barking. *If you get called to come pick up your pup for any reason, you must come pick up your pup. This is for the safety of your pup and others.

Our outdoor play yards offer a dynamic and engaging environment where doggos can romp, play and socialize with their friends. We match each dog with the right play group based on their temperment, size, age and/or energy level..

Our Policies

Assumption of Risk Dog owners must be aware and acknowledge that the owners and staff at Play Dog Play do not have a background in veterinary medicine. Owners also acknowledge that vaccinations do not protect against all communicable illnesses that may affect dogs when staying and playing in close proximity to other dogs. In addition, we at Play Dog Play do our very best to keep an eye on everyone during their stay with us, however, accidents happen and dogs may get hurt while they are with us (i.e. running into one of their friends, spraining a paw, bumping a nose, etc.). Dog owners agree to assume risk of illness or injury while their pet is staying with us at Play Dog Play.

  • Boarding
  • * Boarding stay is a "24-hour" time block (i.e. 2:00pm -

  • Otherwise, we can provide food for an additional fee.
  • * There is no pick-up or drop-off for boarding on holidays.
